Preeti Joshi’s childhood was defined by movement. Her father was an army officer, posted to a new station every two years, which meant Preeti grew up not in one place but in many — exploring myriad cultures, constantly readjusting, learning to find her footing again and again. That capacity for reinvention has defined her adult life too. She holds an M.Sc. in Chemistry and an M.A. in English, is a certified Thetahealer and NLP Coach, and spent two decades in education before resigning from her position as a senior secondary school principal to pursue her twin callings: therapy and personal development coaching. A self-taught artist, Preeti has experimented with an extraordinary range of mediums — watercolours, oils, poster colours, waterproof inks, photo-colours, glass colours, and acrylics — before finding her truest voice in acrylics on paper and canvas.

AT THE BHAVKALA COLLECTIVE
Preeti’s canvases at the Bhavkala Collective carry the energy of a woman who has never stopped learning. Her work reflects the many landscapes she has passed through — literal and emotional — and the elements that those journeys left behind in her art.
She is a storyteller through colour and form, and every painting she makes carries the mark of a life spent in perpetual, joyful growth.
