Aditi Balbir is a self-taught contemporary artist whose creative practice exists at the intersection of storytelling, emotion, imagination, and contemporary visual culture. Alongside her work as the Co-Founder and CEO of EcoRatings, a generative AI company focused on helping enterprises accelerate net zero, decarbonization, and sustainability compliance, Aditi has maintained a lifelong connection with art.
Her artistic practice spans digital art, impressionist-inspired landscapes, expressive portraits, and contemporary interpretations of mythology and symbolism. Her digital artworks are often physically layered with acrylic and gold leaf by hand, bringing a tactile dimension to digitally created imagery.
One of Aditi Balbir’s notable bodies of work is Gods of Light, a contemporary interpretation of Indian mythology. The series draws from familiar mythological figures and reimagines them through vibrant neon hues, replacing traditional palettes with radiant contemporary colours.
The works explore enduring ideas of creation, knowledge, compassion, abundance, and inner awakening. Positioned between folk art, fashion illustration, and sacred storytelling, Gods of Light presents the divine through a distinctly contemporary visual language.
Rather than portraying mythology as distant or historical, Aditi brings these figures into the present, creating works that invite viewers to engage with familiar stories through a new aesthetic perspective.
For Aditi, art is not limited to the conventional gallery wall. Her vision extends into interior spaces, hospitality environments, wellness settings, and functional objects. She believes art should be lived with and incorporated into the spaces and experiences of everyday life.
