For Utkarsha Sahani, music and art are the same language spoken through different hands. Carnatic music is her primary source of inspiration — it is woven through her childhood, her present, and her creative practice. She describes art as ‘an ocean of possibilities, a language without barriers, and a constant presence woven into the fabric of her life. Through her vibrant folk paintings, she creates symphonies of color—visual tributes to the music that moves her soul. Her journey into art deepened in 2015 with the loss of her grandmother, someone she was very close to. Art became a sanctuary then — a space to process grief and find solace in creation. Her parents and brother have been her unwavering support system through it all.
