Pragati Priya has been making art a way of life since she was a child. She chose the science stream in school — not because science was her deepest love, but because, as she puts it, it would let her make ‘pretty notes.’ Those notes, with their careful colour and form, were already a kind of art. Over time, the art became the point itself. Pragati works across digital artworks, landscape-based pieces, floral art, mixed media, and fantasy art — a versatile creative expression that she has extended into everyday items like pendants, tote bags, and art prints. Her work makes full use of the colour wheel, producing combinations that are comforting rather than jarring, designed to be lived with rather than simply looked at. ‘Art is always my way of finding the kindest people on earth,’ she says — and her work reflects exactly that warmth.
